Ken Wang Toys is a direct manufacturer with over 20 years of plush toy production experience, headquartered in Guangdong, China. We operate our own factory with 20+ fully equipped production lines. There are no middlemen — you work directly with our team from design to delivery, ensuring better pricing, faster communication, and tighter quality control.

Absolutely. We welcome factory visits and can arrange tours to see our production lines, material warehouse, sample room, and QC department. Please contact us in advance to schedule your visit. For clients who cannot travel, we can offer a live video tour of the facility.

Customization Services

Yes — this is our core strength. We accept any form of reference: sketches, illustrations, 3D renders, photos of an existing toy, a description, or even just a rough idea. Our experienced in-house design team will bring it to life with 90%+ likeness accuracy. We provide up to three complimentary revision rounds on samples.

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer): You provide the design; we manufacture to your exact specifications. Ideal for brands with existing artwork or characters.

ODM (Original Design Manufacturer): Our design team creates original designs that you can select and brand as your own. Great for buyers who need a ready-to-sell product without in-house design resources.

We provide OEM and ODM services with low MOQ, engineering support, one-stop solution for your plush toys projects. 

We offer full customization at every level:

  • Shape, size, and proportions
  • Fabric type, color, and texture
  • Stuffing material (PP cotton, memory foam, weighted beads, etc.)
  • Eyes, nose, embroidery, and facial features
  • Sound modules, LED lights, heat sensors, or other electronics
  • Scented stuffing or aromatherapy fills
  • Custom tags, labels, and hangtags
  • Packaging: poly bag, gift box, window box, display packaging
  • Private label / brand logo placement

Our standard MOQ is 500 pieces per design. But no worry, we can support you even you only order 50pcs. For simpler designs or reorders of existing items, lower quantities may be negotiable. Complex products (electronics, multi-part assemblies) may require a higher MOQ due to material minimums. Please contact our sales team to discuss your specific needs.

Yes. As long as each individual design meets the MOQ, you can combine multiple designs in one shipment. This is common for series collections, seasonal assortments, or blind box sets. We can also mix sizes within the same character design.

Sampling & Prototyping

Our sampling process has 4 stages:

  • Step 1 – Brief: Share your design files, reference images, and specs with our team.
  • Step 2 – Pattern development: Our pattern makers create the initial construction plan (3–5 days).
  • Step 3 – Prototype production: A physical handmade sample is sewn in our sample room (7–10 days).
  • Step 4 – Review & revisions: We send photos/video for approval; up to 3 revision rounds are included.

Standard prototypes take 7–15 business days. Complex designs involving electronics, multiple components, or rare materials may take 18–25 days. We offer an expedited service for urgent requirements — please let us know your deadline at the start.

Yes. A sample fee is charged to cover material and labor costs. The fee varies by complexity — typically between $80–$300 USD. The sample fee is fully refundable (deducted from your order total) once you place a bulk order. Shipping of the physical sample to your location is charged separately at cost.

We include 3 free revision rounds. Our pattern team has 20+ years of experience and most samples pass client review within the first or second round. Additional revisions beyond three are available at a nominal fee.

Yes. We provide high-resolution photos and a 360° video of every sample before shipping. Many clients approve digitally to save time. However, for high-value or complex orders, we recommend receiving the physical sample to assess materials, feel, and weight in person.

Production & Quality Control

Standard bulk production takes 25–40 business days after sample approval and deposit payment. Lead time varies by order size, design complexity, and current production schedule. During peak seasons (June–October, Chinese New Year), lead times may be longer — we recommend planning 8–10 weeks ahead for holiday stock.

We follow a multi-stage QC process:

  • Incoming material inspection: All fabrics, fillings, and accessories are tested before entering production.
  • In-line inspection: QC staff check workmanship at each production stage.
  • Pre-shipment inspection: Final random inspection per AQL Level II standard before goods are packed.
  • Third-party inspection: Available on request (SGS, Bureau Veritas, QIMA, etc.) for third-party inspection.

We stock a wide range of materials and can also source specialty materials on request. Standard options include:

  • Fabrics: Short pile plush, long pile plush, velboa, minky, sherpa, fleece, cotton, knit
  • Fillings: Virgin PP cotton, recycled PP cotton, memory foam, glass beads (weighted), lavender/aromatherapy fills
  • Eyes/noses: Safety eyes (PE/ABS), embroidered, airbrushed, felt
  • Accessories: Metal zippers, velcro, buttons, ribbons, heat-transfer prints

Yes. Your dedicated account manager will proactively send production milestone updates. You can also request photos or a video call to see the current production status at any point. We believe in full transparency throughout the manufacturing process.

Pricing & Payment

Pricing depends on several variables:

  • Product size and weight
  • Fabric type and quality grade
  • Stuffing material and density
  • Complexity of design (number of pieces, embroidery, accessories)
  • Electronic components (sound, lights)
  • Packaging requirements
  • Order quantity — higher quantities reduce unit cost significantly

We accept the following payment methods:

  • T/T Bank Wire Transfer (most common)
  • PayPal (for samples and small orders)
  • Alipay / WeChat Pay
  • Letter of Credit (L/C) for large established accounts

Standard terms are 30% deposit + balance against BL copy.

Yes. We are flexible, especially for large-volume orders, repeat business, or long-term partnerships. We are always willing to work collaboratively to find a price point that suits your budget while maintaining our quality standards. Let’s talk!

No tooling fees for standard plush toys — patterns are made by hand. For accessories such as custom plastic safety eyes, injection-molded parts, or embroidered patches, a one-time tooling fee may apply and is quoted upfront. Tooling costs are typically a one-time charge and not repeated on reorders.

Shipping & Delivery

We offer flexible shipping to suit your timeline and budget:

  • Sea freight (FCL/LCL): Most cost-effective for large orders. Transit: 18–35 days depending on destination.
  • Air freight: Faster delivery (5–10 days). Best for smaller or time-sensitive shipments.
  • Express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS): 3–7 days. Ideal for samples and small quantities.
  • DDP service: Door-to-Door sea shipment with customs clearance and tax paid.

We support all major Incoterms: EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP, and DDP. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is available for clients who prefer a fully managed end-to-end service with no surprise import costs. Our experienced freight team can advise on the most suitable terms for your destination country.

Yes, we are very experienced with Amazon FBA requirements. We handle FNSKU labeling, carton marking, poly-bagging, and all FBA-specific packaging guidelines. Just share your FBA shipment ID and shipping plan and we’ll take care of the rest.

Yes. We prepare all standard export documents, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, and Certificate of Origin. For specific markets requiring additional certificates (e.g., Form E for ASEAN, EUR.1 for EU), we can assist in obtaining these. For DDP shipments, our freight partners handle import customs clearance on your behalf.

IP & Licensing

Yes. We have extensive experience producing licensed plush toys for major IP holders and their authorized manufacturers. Clients must provide proof of a valid licensing agreement before we begin production. We strictly respect intellectual property rights and will not produce unlicensed copies of any character.

Absolutely. We sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) upon request and all staff are bound by internal confidentiality policies. Your design files, brand concepts, and product specifications will never be shared with any third party or used for any other client without your explicit written permission.

Any patterns, molds, or tooling created exclusively for your design and paid for as part of your order belong to you. We store them free of charge for up to 36 months. We will never use your exclusive tooling to produce items for any other client.

After-Sales & Support

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos or videos showing the issue. We take all quality complaints seriously. Depending on the situation, our resolution options include: partial refund, full replacement production at no cost, or credit towards your next order. Our goal is to make it right, every time.

We love long-term partnerships. Repeat clients benefit from faster turnaround times (patterns already on file), priority production scheduling, volume price improvements, and a dedicated account manager who knows your brand inside out. Many of our clients have been with us for 5–10+ years.

Our team responds to all inquiries within 16 hours on business days (Monday–Saturday, Beijing Time). For urgent matters, we are also reachable via WhatsApp. We are committed to responsive, professional communication throughout your entire project.

Yes. We regularly attend major international toy fairs, including the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Canton Fair, and Nuremberg Toy Fair. Contact us ahead of time to schedule a meeting at our booth. We’d love to show you samples in person.
